Certified Nurse Assitant I (CNA I)
A professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. Provides basic nursing care to all patients. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the unit. Will provide phlebotomy skills and obtain EKG as directed by the nursing staff.
Certified Nursing Assistant license with North Carolina Registry and completion of a phlebotomy training program required. Must be able to work under the direction of a licensed nurse and follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
