The purpose of this position is to pre-register and register all patients for services taking place. Responsible for obtaining accurate and complete demographic as well as financial data. Providing excellent customer service, allowing for a positive first impression of the health system.
Relationship Based Model of Care
Each employee of CH participates in a delivery model of patient care in which the patient and family are the central focus. Using the Relationship Based Care Model the nurse and other health care team members strive to understand what is most important to the individual patient, and actively engage them in all aspects of care.
Employees are required to maintain a culture that supports caring and healing. Employees focus on relationships to maintain the caring culture. The three relationships of focus are relationship with patients, colleagues and with self.
Basic computer and data entry skills. Required to pass the clerical testing given by Human Resources.
1. Six months registration experience preferred.
2. Demonstrated customer service, keyboard and computer experience and medical terminology preferred.
3. Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, business related Internet applications and web searches.
4. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
