Provides complete therapeutic care to patients requiring respiratory care services as ordered by a physician. Demonstrates flexibility, knowledge and dedication in a team-oriented workplace. The employee will also participate on various interdepartmental committees at the discretion of the director. These committees will be essential in meeting the organizations goals, vision and mission.
Must be a graduate from an approved RRT or CRT respiratory therapy program. Must have a current North Carolina RCP license and BLS certification to practice. Must have ACLS certification within 1year of hire (effective June, 2012). PALS and NRP are encouraged. A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a therapist in a hospital respiratory therapy department is preferred.
