Assesses, assists with the development of and implements programs to increase awareness of health related issues leading to improvement in the overall health of Randolph Hospital employees. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Current NC state license to practice as an LPN. BCLS required. Certification in occupational health desirable. Ability to assess, plan, organize, and coordinate Employee Health functions. Ability to perform basic data entry into an established Employee Health data system. Position requires deductive thinking and immediate judgement to determine whether and employee's illness or injury requires more treatment than can be administered in Employee Health. Creative thinking skills in establishing return to work plans for injured workers. Must have effective tactful interaction with people. Evaluates, consults, and comforts employees who have been injured or are ill or under duress. Three years experience in hospital, physician office, or long-term care setting.
