Responsible for assuring the overall maintenance and/or new implementations of the hospital's Health Care Information System (HCIS) financial and administrative modules/applications including admissions, community-wide scheduling, medical records, abstracting/case mix, billing and accounts receivable, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll/personnel, executive support system, cost accounting and materials management through collaboration with other team members. Also, the Financial Systems Analyst will work with all aspects of Information Systems, including clinical applications and office productivity, which support the hospital?s business strategies and patient care mission.
REQUIRED: Associate's degree in Accounting or closely related business discipline and two year's related work experience in direct support of a hospital's patient accounting and related revenue cycle functions.
PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related business management field and two years related work experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience with the Meditech HCIS financial modules and NPR report writing.
