Develops and maintains the PICIS perioperative software. Provides orientation and updates to OR staff and to assure performance standards are being met. Circulates throughout all operating rooms to evaluate use by staff and to promote point of service education/support. Works with management and staff to promote a positive attitude toward patient care and team work. Accountable for directing and supervising informatics tasks performed by perioperative nurses and operating room technologists and ancillary personnel. Graduate of approved college. RN preferred with current licensure in NC. CNOR preferred. Minimum of 4 years OR experience with broad range of experience in the perioperative and informatics setting.
