The House Supervisor coordinates appropriate patient placement throughout the hospital, and works closely with all departments, Medical Staff, and Administration to maximize the use of the hospital's resources and quality patient care. Serves as administrative liaison, facilitates problem solving, decision making, and assists with special projects as assigned.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or must
complete within 3 years
Required License: Must have and maintain current, unrestricted license as a registered nurse in North Carolina or one of the compact states as defined by North Carolina Board of Nursing, and must have and maintain current BCLS
Required Certification: Must have and maintain current BLS
Preferred Certification: Current ACLS, PALS, AND NRP
Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with 2 years of supervisory or management experience
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or
management experience, including Critical
Care or Emergency nursing
