Provides care under a supervising orthopaedic surgeon in an Orthopaedic Practice in compliance with the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. May divide work time between Spruce Pine and Burnsville clinics.
Required Education: PA Certification
Required License: Has and maintains current Physician Assistant license with the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. BCLS certification. ACLS and PALS (or must obtain within one year of employment).
Required Experience: Must feel comfortable working with Pediatric patients.
Preferred Experience: Two years experience in orthopaedic care; automated patient record management; and knowledge of dictation equipment.
