CNA
The Certified Nursing Assistant delivers care under the direction of a Registered Nurse according to their scope of practice. The Internal Staffing CNA may service one or all of the different CarePartners departments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibility Levels:
A. Provide personal care to patients and perform nursing activities delegated by the RN or LPN during assigned shift or visit.
B. Works under the direction of and communicates with the RN or LPN to receive and report pertinent information about the patient.
C. Shows good organization of time and work by completing assignments fully by the end of shift or visit.
D. Documents according to service area policy and procedure.
E. In Private Duty may also provide Nutritional Care (plan and cook meals; provide grocery shopping and put food away), Household Tasks (cleans kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom; does laundry and changes bed linens; assists with household financial management tasks), and provides transportation as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- NC CNA certification
- Valid Driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a CNA
