RN needed Newborn Nursery / Maternity Care Center. This is a 28 bed postpartum unit with a newborn nursery that provides low and high risk postpartum care. The staff have a strong knowledge base in postpartum care for vaginal and cesarean section care, breastfeeding, late preterm infant care, normal newborn care and family teaching.
The staff is nightly committed to family-centered care. We have flexible rooming-in, rounding by the lactation consultants, sibling visitation and more. Mother / Baby Couplet care, postpartum and newborn care.
This is 36 hours a week, day / night rotation with weekend rotation, flexible self scheduling.
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Requires graduation for a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.
