UNC Home Health provides expect health care services to adults in the comfort and privacy of their own homes, whether for acute or chronic illness or as a follow-up to hospital care. Requires:
Coverage to meet patient needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with offices in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro.
Part-time, intermittent home health services to homebound patients.
Comprehensive assessment of the patient and formulation of a plan for treatment to meet each patient needs.
Nursing skilled services include wound care, medication teaching, disease process management teaching, and infusion services.
Full time RN will be expected to work 40 hours plus an on call schedule (rotation) weekday and one weekend/month. Home health experience preferred; highly prefer 2 years nursing experience. Infusion and pediatric experience a plus.
Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Valid North Carolina drivers' license and CPR certification preferred.
