The hospital is a Critical Access Hospital located in the northwest mountains of North Carolina.
Work experience should include progressive job advancement in a CEO position. Candidates should be able to present a career history that has either placed them in the CEO position or experience that has given them exposure to this organizational position.
Experience in dealing with Boards' of Directors, Medical Staff organizations, physician recruiting and financial operations would be highly desirable for this position. Alleghany County has the distinction of being location where construction first began on the monumental scenic byway, the Blue Ridge Parkway.
