The LPN is responsible and accountable to the Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Manager or Nursing Administrator for clinical activities to meet compliance with practice standards in providing outcome focused care. Performs to advance the mission and objectives of the organization while promoting a safe, healing patient care environment, which supports innovation, creativity and excellence in customer service. Functions as a team member. Performs comprehensive nursing care for patients whose needs range from uncomplicated to increasingly complex under the direction of the RN. Organizes and prioritizes nursing care activities considering the needs of the patients and other staff members. Participates in Performance Improvement/ Research activities designed to improve patient care, and/or organizational processes.
Minimum Education: Graduate of approved School of Nursing
Minimum Experience: Experience preferred but not required
Licences/Certification: Holds a current license to practice in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Skills: Demonstrates knowledge of current nursing and patient care practices and ability to apply these concepts. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
