Job Description

The Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Analyst is responsible for the management and deployment of all applications in the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment. Works with IS staff, application vendors and key personnel from other departments to deploy, maintain and support the virtual desktops operating systems, applications and related patches.

Two-year degree in Information Technology preferred, Computer Science or other information technology-related field or equivalent work experience and certification(s) accepted. VMWare Professional certification required.

Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible, work-related experience designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows desktops, application deployment with platforms such as VMWare and Horizon View, App Volumes and Persona Management, User Environment Manager (UEM) or Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).

VMWare Certificated Professional Desktop and Mobility (VCP), or equivalent industry work experience beyond the minimum is required. Retired VMWare Certificated Professional certifications will be considered at their equivalent current certification levels, but recertification is highly recommended.
