Job Description

Provides laboratory customer service support via telephone to physician offices, patients, patient care areas and other CaroMont departments. Telephone services include test availability, specimen requirements, and test results. Also performs a variety of clerical duties including patient registration, order management, specimen receipt, labeling, pre-analytical processing, specimen distribution and result distribution. Exceptional accuracy required while working with multiple computer applications.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. No prior laboratory experience required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience with computers and data entry required. Medical Terminology knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Considerate ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment and with varied tasks simultaneously. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
